Linux Administrator Junior

Our IT Infrastructure division manages key services such as data centers, automation, identity, and support services across multiple regions.
Currently we are looking for a junior Linux Administrator who will join us. 
As Junior Linux Administrator, you will be a part of the Linux Infrastructure team, handling the administration and support of various Linux-based systems and services. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment.

 

Your future role:

 

  • Managing servers running on RHEL, including services like DNS, SMTP, SFTP, CEPH, and PKI.
  • Overseeing Linux repository management and participate in system monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Assisting with server provisioning and configuration management using Ansible, AWX, GitLab CI.
  • Providing second-level support for issues escalated from other teams, ensuring seamless operation of services like Ceph, Vault, and GitLab

     

    Your experience & skills:

     

  • Enthusiastic mindset, energy and strong will to learn and move forward.
  • Basic understanding of IT environment with focus on Linux technologies. 
  • Communicative English and Czech/Slovak language.
  • Experience with automation tools like Bash and Ansible, monitoring tools and DevOps principles is a plus.
  • Good communication skill

Onboarding

Once you accept our offer, we’ll guide you through our onboarding process which includes orientation sessions, training and introductions to your team and key stakeholders,  and assign you a “buddy” to help get you settled.  We want to ensure that you feel welcome and prepared as you begin your journey at EmbedIT.
