Type of contract: Full-time
Place of work: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
We are looking for Automation QA Engineers to join our growing team in Vietnam. This role focuses primarily on automation testing, with some manual testing exposure, and works across multiple backend and web systems in a collaborative, international environment.
You will work closely with developers and product teams to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle, with strong involvement in automation, API testing, and system validation.
What you’ll be doing
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for web applications and APIs
- Execute functional, regression, and integration testing
- Perform API testing and backend validation using SQL
- Collaborate closely with developers to identify defects early in the development cycle
- Contribute to automation framework improvements and test coverage
- Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze test results, report defects, and support root cause analysis
- Participate in sprint activities including planning, estimation, and release validation
- Contribute to improving QA practices and testing processes
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years of experience in software testing
- Hands-on experience in test automation using Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks
- Experience in API testing (REST, Postman, or similar tools)
- Basic to intermediate programming skills in Java (preferred), C#, TypeScript, or similar
- Experience validating backend data using SQL queries
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in cross-functional teams
- Good English communication skills
