Meet the team

We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a newly formed team working on a complete redesign of our client´s web and mobile application. The current solution is due for a full modernization – both visually and functionally – to better meet the high standards of today’s financial services environment.

You’ll be part of a senior-level team based in Prague, working closely with a Product Owner, developers, UX/UI designers, and end users. Your main responsibility will be translating business needs into clear and actionable tasks – from epics and user stories to technical enablers. Together with the PO, you will plan the content of each sprint and ensure that each deliverable brings value to both users and the development team.

Due to the high level of collaboration required with stakeholders and the team, on-site presence in the office at least 3 days per week (ideally 4) is essential for effective delivery and communication.

Your future role

• Collecting and analyzing business requirements and converting them into user stories and specifications
• Validating the technical feasibility of proposed solutions
• Actively participating in agile ceremonies and supporting the development team
• Collaborating with the PO on the roadmap, feature prioritization, and release planning
• Maintaining clear and up-to-date documentation (e.g. in Confluence)
• Helping map data and attributes between the UI and backend API
• Identifying risks and proposing concrete solutions to keep the project on track

Your experience and skills

• At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in web or mobile app development
• Ability to write clear user stories and define acceptance criteria
• Basic understanding of APIs – you know how API calls work and how to map UI elements to backend attributes
• Working knowledge of English sufficient to read documentation and handle day-to-day team communication
• Excellent command of Czech or Slovak (spoken and written) – communication with clients and documentation is primarily in Czech
• Strong sense of ownership, structured thinking, and effective communication skills
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence (or similar)
• oh and if you worked in a financial service industry, than that´s a plus
