We are Cyber Security in EmbedIT, we are the ones that shape the landscape of Information Security for our customers, primarily for the Home Credit Group, SKODA Group, ITIS Group, PPF itself and selected companies in the PPF Group as well as for other unaffiliated partners. Our responsibility is to navigate the complex regulatory environment of various, primarily financial, institutions across the globe, and ensure that requirements are transformed into day-to-day realities, monitoring their fulfilment, identifying threats, and responding to them accordingly. 

Your future role 

As a Junior Cyber Security Consultant, you'll be supporting the development and implementation of security processes, assisting in IT assessments, and gaining hands-on experience in various Cyber Security areas. You will work on a diverse range of projects, both internal and external, with clients from multiple nations under the guidance of experienced professionals. This role offers excellent growth opportunities in a dynamic environment where you can develop your expertise while contributing to meaningful cybersecurity initiatives. 

Responsibilities 

  • Support comprehensive IT risk assessments and security evaluations
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations and standards
  • Support senior consultants in governance, risk management and compliance matters
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cybersecurity projects
  • Participate in training programs and pursue relevant certifications 

Your experience and skills 

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in IT, cybersecurity, audit, or related IT areas
  • Basic understanding of IT standards (ISO 27001, ITIL, COBIT)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • An advanced level of English and Czech/Slovak is a must

What is a plus

  • Experience with GAP analysis or security assessments/audits
  • Awareness of IT regulations (NIS 2, DORA, Czech Cyber Act, GDPR, PCI DSS, EBA Guidelines)
  • Previous consulting or client-facing experience
  • Relevant certifications (Security+, CISSP Associate) or willingness to pursue them
  • Understanding of IT architecture or operations
