Employer Brand & Communications Manager

Role description

  • Type of contract: Full-time

  • Place of work: Hlavní město Praha, Czech Republic

Employer brand is not a campaign. It’s the reality people experience every day.

We’re looking for an Employer Brand & Communications Manager who will take ownership of how EmbedIT is experienced — internally and externally — by IT professionals in the Czech Republic and Vietnam.

This role is about setting direction, asking the right questions, working with data, and partnering with leaders to make sure our employer brand reflects real life, not just good intentions.

Your future role

  • Own the strategic direction of EmbedIT’s employer brand, internally and externally, across the Czech Republic and Vietnam.
  • You'll set clear communication principles, key topics, and tone of voice that make sense to IT audiences and stay free of corporate fluff.
  • Shape the direction of internal communication and the IT community, providing structure, priorities, and long-term focus — in close collaboration with hands-on community and communication roles.
  • Drive engagement and feedback loops, including regular mood checks, thematic deep dives, and improvement cycles (Fix loop).
  • Work with data from engagement and feedback tools, interpret it in context, and turn it into clear insights and concrete recommendations.
  • Translate insights into structured presentations and personally present outcomes to leaders and management, answering the question: “What does this mean — and what do we do next?”
  • You'll partner with leaders on communicating strategy, change, and sensitive topics in a clear, human, and credible way.
  • Ensure consistency between external messaging and internal reality — so what we say matches how it actually feels to work here.
  • In key moments, step in hands-on for important initiatives, events, or situations where senior support and alignment are needed.

Who we're looking for

  • Professional from an IT or technology environment is a must. Without understanding this “tribe,” the role simply won’t work.
  • Someone who understands how IT people think, work, and communicate including their directness and healthy skepticism toward corporate language.
  • Employer branding master with the focus on communications and engagement as well.
  • Numbers enthusiast understanding their context, and ability turning them into meaningful conclusions.
  • Creative person enjoys preparing presentations and presenting in front of audience.
  • Experience owning an independent area of responsibility and working closely with leadership.
  • Very good English speaker - to write, present, and communicate daily in an international environment (Czech Republic / Vietnam).
  • Natural authority, openness, and solid common sense.

How you'll know, this role is for you

  • You see employer brand as long-term work, not a marketing campaign.
  • IT environments feel familiar and make sense to you.
  • You enjoy combining people, content, and data — and believe even serious topics can be communicated clearly and human-to-human.
  • You’re comfortable challenging things that don’t work and changing them instead of polishing them.

If you enjoy working with IT leaders, asking the right (sometimes uncomfortable) questions, and turning insight into real change, we’d like to hear from you.
