Finance Controller - Maternity Leave Cover

Role description

  • Place of work: Hlavní město Praha, Czech Republic

We’re looking for a Finance Controller to join our team, for a limited time, as a maternity cover – someone who’s comfortable with numbers, but also enjoys being close to the people behind them. In this role, you’ll support our internal divisions (People & Marketing, Finance, Business Administration) with budgeting, forecasting, reporting and more.

Your future role

  • Take ownership and act as a Financial Business Partner for our back office divisions
  • Support the budgeting process and regular forecasting updates
  • Communicate with division leads and provide them with relevant financial insights
  • Manage and oversee the invoicing processes for customers both internal and external, and follow up on collections
  • Prepare liquidity and cash flow reports
  • Handle monthly and quarterly closings
  • And of course work closely with our accounting, tax, and legal departments

What you'll bring

  • 2–3 years of experience in financial controlling or a similar finance role, experience from consulting companies or big4 is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Great communication skills and a proactive approach
  • Fluency in both Czech and English
  • Solid Excel and general MS Office skills
  • A team player who’s reliable, curious, and collaborative
