EmbedIT Vietnam is looking for a Junior Software Analyst to support the analysis, design, and delivery of enterprise software solutions for financial institutions across Southeast Asia. This role works closely with senior analysts, developers, and QA teams to help translate business needs into clear, structured requirements and documentation.
The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, foundational knowledge of financial systems or enterprise software, and is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, cross-country delivery environment.
Your future role
- Support requirement-gathering sessions with business users, product owners, and technical teams.
- Assist in analyzing and documenting functional requirements, workflows, and basic data models.
- Help translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Support documentation of business processes and identify improvement opportunities under guidance.
- Assist in preparing solution documents, API descriptions, and basic integration notes.
- Work closely with developers and QA teams during development and testing phases.
- Participate in UAT execution, defect logging, and result validation.
- Maintain project documentation, user guides, and reports in Jira and Confluence.
Your experience and skills
- 1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Software Analyst, or in a related IT role.
- Basic understanding of fintech, banking, or enterprise software systems is a plus.
- Experience or exposure to requirement documentation, user stories, or process flows.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, diagrams/flow tools, and basic SQL.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn in a cross-functional, multinational team.
