Senior Consultant/Solution Architect

EmbedIT Vietnam is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant/Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade solutions for financial institutions across the SSEA region. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong consulting background, deep domain experience in banking and consumer lending, and proven ability to architect scalable and secure systems.

Your Future Role

Solution Architecture Design

  • Lead the design of end-to-end solution architectures for banking and consumer lending platforms.
  • Ensure alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and technology standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define architecture vision and roadmap.

Consulting & Advisory

  • Provide strategic consulting to clients on digital transformation, system modernization, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Conduct architecture assessments and recommend improvements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.

Project Leadership

  • Oversee technical delivery across multiple projects, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Guide development teams on implementation best practices.
  • Manage risks and resolve technical challenges during project execution.

Domain Expertise

  • Apply deep knowledge of banking operations, consumer lending workflows, and financial compliance.
  • Design solutions that support credit scoring, loan origination, risk management, and customer engagement.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with business analysts, developers, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Prepare architecture documentation, presentations, and client-facing materials.
  • Support pre-sales activities and proposal development.

What Will Help You Stand Out

  • 5-10 years of experience in consulting, preferably with one of the Big Four firms.
  • Proven track record of designing solution architectures for financial institutions.
  • Strong understanding of banking and consumer lending processes.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Knowledge of architecture modeling standards (UML, Archimate, ...)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), microservices, and API design.
  • Knowledge of data platforms, integration patterns, and security standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus.
  • Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel across the SSEA region or Europe.
  • Ability to work in multinational environment.
  • Fluent in English for documentation and coordination.
