At EmbedIT, we’re looking for a Technology Manager who will sit right at the intersection of strategy and execution. This role is about making things happen – leading multiple technology teams, owning delivery outcomes, developing people, and shaping how execution is done, not just making sure it gets done.
You’ll be responsible for turning strategic intent into delivery reality while building strong, accountable teams that consistently deliver high-quality results.
What you’ll be responsible for
People leadership
- Lead and develop up to 30 team members (engineers, analysts, testers, DevOps)
- Own performance management, goal setting, coaching, and development planning
- Build a healthy, transparent team culture aligned with EmbedIT values
- Encourage ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across teams
Delivery ownership
- Own delivery of features, projects, or services within agreed scope, timeline, and quality
- Ensure commitments to internal and external customers are met
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and delivery bottlenecks
- Continuously assess delivery effectiveness and improve predictability and quality
Operations & ways of working
- Ensure adherence to agreed processes (Agile, SDLC, security, compliance)
- Optimise team productivity, utilisation, and delivery quality
- Collaborate closely with domain teams (e.g. Core Banking, Risk, Origination)
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes based on execution feedback
Stakeholder management
- Act as the main interface between teams and key stakeholders or strategic accounts
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly and on time
- Translate business needs into actionable execution plans
What we’re looking for
- 8–12 years in software development, IT delivery, or related fields
- 5+ years in a people leadership role (Team Lead / Manager) with the confidence in decision-making under uncertainity
- Experience working in Agile and cross-functional environments
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
- Good technical literacy: modern architectures, APIs, databases, cloud concepts, CI/CD, DevOps fundamentals
- Exposure to international or multi-stakeholder environments is a strong plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- Clear, structured communication in English
